These terms and conditions apply to all canyoning tours and outdoor activities offered by Canyoning Innsbruck. By booking, the participant fully accepts these conditions.
2. Booking and Contract Conclusion
Registration for a tour can be made in writing via email or WhatsApp, or by phone. The contract is concluded as soon as we have confirmed the booking in writing or electronically. For group bookings, the person making the reservation is considered authorized to conclude the contract on behalf of all participants.
3. Services and Prices
The agreed price includes the services described in the respective offer, in particular:
Guidance by a state-certified canyoning guide
Provision of the necessary equipment (wetsuit, helmet, harness, safety gear)
Instruction in technique and safety procedures
Not included are travel to and from the location, footwear, food and beverages, and personal expenses, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
4. Payment Terms
Payment is generally due before the start of the tour. Accepted payment methods are cash or bank transfer. After booking confirmation, payment should be made within 7 days.
Cash payments are only possible for last-minute bookings (less than 7 days in advance).
5. Withdrawal and Cancellation
Cancellation by the participant:
Up to 14 days before the tour date: free cancellation
13 to 7 days before: 30% of the tour price
6 days to 24 hours before the start of the tour: 50% of the tour price
24 hours before the start of the tour or no-show: 100% of the tour price
Naming a replacement participant is possible up until the start of the tour and exempts from cancellation fees.
Cancellation by the organizer:
We reserve the right to cancel tours in the event of insufficient participants, extreme weather conditions, or safety-related circumstances (e.g. high water, thunderstorms). In this case, we will refund the full amount or offer an alternative date. Further claims are excluded.
6. Health Requirements
Canyoning requires a good basic level of physical fitness as well as the ability to swim. Participants must be free from cardiovascular diseases, epilepsy, severe respiratory illnesses, or other conditions that could endanger safe participation.
For minors, written consent from a legal guardian is required. The minimum age varies depending on the tour and is specified in the respective offer.
The consumption of alcohol or drugs before and during the tour is strictly prohibited. In case of suspected impairment, we reserve the right to exclude participants from the tour without any right to a refund.
7. Obligations of Participants
Participants agree to:
Follow the instructions of the guides at all times
Provide truthful information about their health condition and swimming ability
Use the provided equipment properly
Not endanger other participants
In cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct, participants may be excluded from the tour. Any damage to equipment caused by improper use will be charged to the participant.
8. Liability and Risk
Canyoning is an outdoor sport with inherent risks. Despite careful preparation and professional guidance, accidents cannot be completely ruled out.
Canyoning Innsbruck is only liable for damages resulting from gross negligence or intent on our part. Liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
9. Insurance
Participants are responsible for having adequate insurance coverage. We recommend:
Private accident insurance (leisure-time coverage)
Liability insurance
Travel cancellation insurance, if applicable
Rescue costs and medical treatment are not included in the tour price.
10. Photo and Video Recordings
During the tour, photos and videos may be taken by our guides. By participating, the participant agrees that these recordings may be used for marketing purposes (website, social media, printed materials).
Objection is possible at any time and should be communicated before the start of the tour.
11. Data Protection
Personal data is collected and processed solely for the purpose of contract execution. Data will only be passed on to third parties if necessary for the provision of services (e.g. to emergency services in case of emergencies). Further information can be found in our privacy policy below.
